Farglory Group’s Seminar on “Change”: Resetting Your Thinking Model

This seminar was a breakthrough in communication between employees of different levels and a reflection on career mindset. Additionally, it served as a brief summary of Farglory Group’s focus on transformation and innovation through brand reinvention and workplace remodeling following the publication of the Special Issue on “Change”, as we take “change” seriously. With the intention to bring in external perspectives, the seminar invited Mr. Yu Feng, a famous Taiwanese designer, as the host. He led participants to savor the meaning behind “change” for self-reflection in a relaxing and interesting atmosphere.

Let change transform from an external pressure into an internal motivation

When discussing changes at the company, many employees may not be excited, but are instead worried about the change. The reason is that in a modern society that emphasizes competition and speed, behind the excitement of new opportunities lies the frustration and fear of being eliminated. While the changes in the world are flowing over us, the sharing of ideas is the key to helping colleagues learn from leaders and actively embrace the mentality and strategy of change. Moreover, Farglory is committed to lead our partners forward together. We hope that making changes will no longer be a source of pressure, but an exciting motivator for the group.

Actions for change start from day-to-day life

For an organization to operate smoothly, communication plays the most important role. As a result, the first thing that Farglory expects our colleagues to change is ineffective communication. The culture and language used by different generations over the past 20 years have greatly changed. Therefore, the old generation needs to change their habit of giving themselves absolute authority, whereas the new generation needs to practice more empathy and consideration to fulfill each other’s needs. In terms of inspiring personal growth, the Vice Chairman gave this sincere advice: “What we do day-by-day is actually affecting us.” He also encouraged our colleagues, “Be brave enough to embrace the unfamiliar; be willing to learn from your mistakes and find the answers!”

The excitement and inspiration of the 2-hour workshop cannot be summarized in a few words. We invite you to continually experience with your heart the “change” that Farglory has made by both looking back at the past and looking forward to the future.
