NEX PARK’s goal is to offer visions of future life in terms of food, clothing, housing, mobility, education,
and entertainment. But NEX PARK also lays out a blueprint for cross-disciplinary lifestyle experiences.
Exhibition introduction
Built around the concept of the “Future Playground,” NEX PARK becomes an experimental arena where design innovation and sustainability converge. This debut exhibition focuses on the intersection of architecture, art, and materials science, exploring the evolution of public space and the possibilities of resource circulation. Through spatial reconfiguration and material innovation, the exhibition reimagines what future environments could look like. It explores how design can respond to environmental issues, and fosters dialogue between people, cities, and nature.
Japanese architectural studio TORAFU ARCHITECTS challenges spatial adaptability and sharing models through flexible furniture and recycled materials, creating a dynamic and open interactive setting. Thai artists BOPE focus on resource reuse, transforming discarded plastics and textiles into installations and functional objects that are both artistic and practical. They probe the role of design in future lifestyles.
This exhibition is not only an experimental inquiry into public space and sustainable design, but also a deep conversation around society, the environment, and innovative thinking. Through a forward-looking curatorial lens, NEX PARK invites visitors to navigate a space where design and technology intertwine, and to reflect on how creativity can drive a sustainable future.
