NEX PARK’s goal is to offer visions of future life in terms of food, clothing, housing, mobility, education, and entertainment.
But NEX PARK also lays out a blueprint for cross-disciplinary lifestyle experiences.
Exhibition introduction
NEX PARK launches with an immersive exhibition that reimagines public space through the lens of sustainable innovation. Framed as a “playground for the future,” the exhibition brings together architecture, art, and material science to explore how design can actively shape a more regenerative and inclusive urban environment.
At the heart of this showcase is a dialogue between spatial transformation and material reinvention. Japanese architecture studio TORAFU ARCHITECTS presents a flexible system of furniture and modular elements crafted from recycled materials—proposing new models of adaptability, co-living, and spatial interaction. Thai artist BOPE explores the creative reuse of discarded plastics and textiles, transforming waste into functional art pieces that challenge conventional ideas of beauty, value, and utility.
More than a display, the exhibition serves as a curatorial platform for critical inquiry—examining how cities might evolve through cycles of reuse and how design can facilitate meaningful exchange between people, nature, and technology. With a future-facing curatorial approach, NEX PARK invites visitors to step into a testing ground where sustainability is not just an ambition, but an ongoing act of imagination.
